Computations: Piero Sicoli, Francesco Manca (sormano@tin.it).

Dedicated page to the future close encounter of the Potential Hazardous Asteroid (PHA) (99942) Apophis and our planet Earth on April 13, 2029. This object was discovered on June 19, 2004 from Kitt Peak Observatory. (see also our internal web page for more details ) and according with our computations, will have a close encounter with the Earth on April 13, 2029 at about 31769 Km from the Earth's surface. (please see our MBPL and Table of the Next Close Approaches with the Earth).

All diagrams were extrapolated from internal software used also to compute close encounters between asteroids and the Earth ( SAEL and MBPL ) or the inner planets
